definitely worth it
Decided to stop by onyx on a friday night. $20 cover, big black security dudes ,metal detectors. Overall I got the impression this was not a very safe place. Once inside however I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of thumping hip hop music and a clean atmosphere with a well organized bar. The stages had a steady rotation of luscious, curvaceous women who can booty pop with the best of them! No stick figures here, only real women grinding and gyrating with all the passion of a rap video. Got a dance from a radiant young ebony queen who calls herself sierra. Magnificent. Lots of heavy grinding and body contact. Definitely well worth my 25 dollars. I would highly recommend this club to anyone looking for a real party, casual atmosphere with thick women who know how to let loose. Thumbs up.

Visiting charlotte from atlanta. we are use to total nudity in the strip clubs in the "a" but was impressed with onyx especially since they are only topless. nice looking women. not all of the women took their tops off, but it was all good. drinks moderately priced, but were strong. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING CLUB which was a plus. would go back if we were in charlotte.
